New Regional Office of SAS Scandinavian Airlines in Warsaw
As of January 1, 2010 the seat of the Regional Office of SAS Scandinavian Airlines for the East Europe was moved from Copenhagen to Warsaw. Such countries as Poland, Russia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Romania and Finland became part of the Region East Europe, and Jens Helmoe Larsen from Denmark was appointed as its new General Manager.

SAS Scandinavian Airlines offer direct flights from the biggest Polish cities to the most important transfer airport in Scandinavia - Copenhagen and to the capital of Norway - Oslo.
Since September 2009 passengers have had at their disposal six connections from Gdańsk to Oslo a week. The flights on this route are operated by SAS in Norway, which, in cooperation with Wideroe, offers the most extensive network of connections within Norway, connecting the capital with over 40 cities.
As a result, SAS Poland currently operates over 50 direct flights from the biggest Polish cities (Gdańsk, Poznań, Warsaw and Wroc³aw – in cooperation with CimberAir) to the Scandinavian capitals with convenient transfers to European and Intercontinental capitals.
