Better connections to Scandinavia with SAS

As of today, connections to Scandinavia will become even quicker and smoother with SAS Scandinavian Airlines. A new partnership between CPH, Copenhagen’s airport, and SAS has been launched, with the aim for Copenhagen airport to be amongst the world’s leading transfer airports. As a result, the minimum connection time at Copenhagen is reduced from 40 to 30 minutes. This means SAS can offer more and quicker connections to Scandinavia. Additionally, luggage handling will improve and become even more effective, whilst SAS flights will have a dedicated gate area at Copenhagen airport.

From Gdansk, SAS now offers quicker and smoother connections to Goeteborg, Oslo and Stockholm. With the shortened minimum connection time, travel time can be reduced by up to 2 hours and 15 minutes. Warsaw will gain improved schedule to Bergen. Poznan will benefit as from the end of the March getting better connections to Stockholm and Oslo.

“For SAS travelers, this means they can reach their Scandinavian destination much quicker, without having to stress through the airport. SAS always strive to offer our customers time-efficient and hassle-free travel, and we can now offer those connecting via Copenhagen one of the smoothest and quickest transfer points in the whole world”, says Wanda Brociek General Manager for Poland.

Besides offering first-rate transfer connections, SAS was also Europe’s most punctual major airline in 2009, and the world’s third most punctual major airline.
