Ms. Wanda Brociek - new General Manager of SAS Poland

On January 1, 2010 there was a change in the position of General Manager of SAS Scandinavian Airlines in Poland. Mr Karl-Göran Karlsson is about to end his mission, which has lasted for over six years, and hand it over to Ms Wanda Brociek, who, so far, has held the position of Sales Director. It is worth pointing out that after more than 15 years during which the position has been held by Scandinavians, now a Pole will be in charge of the Polish organisation.

“The appointment fills me with great joy. I will enthusiastically continue the actions initiated by Karl Göran,” said Wanda Brociek.
“What remains our biggest task is further development of connections between Poland and Scandinavia, mainly on the routes from Warsaw, Gdañsk and Poznañ. At the same time, we are taking on new challenges, improving the quality of services in order to encourage passengers to travel with SAS even more often. Our aim is to remain the leader among the best airlines which provide services on routes from Poland.”

Wanda Brociek began her career at a city office of SAS Scandinavian Airlines in 1988 as an employee dealing with reservations and telephone service. Then, she dealt with sales and marketing, and for the last two years has held the position of Sales Director.

She has been living in Warsaw for 20 years and has 3 children. In her free time, she enjoys reading and tending plants in her small home garden.
